| UHI’s acquisition of Mosquito Pro Tech (MPT) represents our commitment to developing natural products in our newly formed environmental division. The acquisition of MPT is part of University Health Industries' overall strategy of creating an integrated consumer health products company. This newly formed ‘environmental division,’ will therefore allow UHI to expand its existing product line of natural, patent-pending, dietary supplements to include natural aerosol repellent systems as well as potential natural topical preparations to repel mosquitoes and other insects. The environmental division will maintain UHI’s continuing commitment to producing natural products for the promotion of health and well-being. |

Disease carrying mosquitoes have contributed a number of health issues including the spread of viral encephalitis.
The West Nile Virus (WNV) alone, in the State of California statistically reports 840 cases of West Nile in 2006 with 27 reported deaths linked to West Nile. These statistics are to the lower end of the scale since health officials believe the numbers should be higher due to a number of deaths most likely being misdiagnosed.
